Gen. Bajwa’s official three-day visit to Amman in October 2018 resulted in a promise to hold more joint military exercises, increase training and partner in the production of armaments.

Pakistani dignitaries also attended a counterterrorism drill by the King Abdullah II Special Forces Group at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center.

The defense relationship between Jordan and Pakistan was also the topic of a meeting between Gen. Bajwa and Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan Armed Forces.
